🕌 About

Madrasah Al-Ma’arif Al-Islamiah was founded in 1936 by Almarhum Kiyai Sheikh Muhammad Fadhlullah Suhaimi. Originally located at Tanjong Katong Road, the school later moved to Ipoh Lane in 1939, on wakaf land donated by Sheikh Omar Bamadhaj, and again in 2007 to its current premises at 3 Lorong 39 Geylang — also a wakaf property. 👩‍🏫 Honouring Our Educators

Among the school’s most inspiring figures is Ustazah Sukarti Asmoin, who served as principal for 20 years and later taught ukhrawi subjects at the Pre-U level.

She holds the distinction of being Pergas’ first appointed female advisor, continuing to inspire generations of students and scholars.
